The Film Debut of My Digestive System

On Wednesday, I have my first pill cam procedure.  The prep for it will be the standard cleansing one might get before a colonoscopy. (yay.)  Once I've swallowed the pill, I have to find something to do for 8 hours while the tiny camera transmits images to a hard drive buckled to my hip.  At the end of the day, I'll return the hard drive (but not the pill camera - thankfully no recycling) to the doc and he'll download all of the images that will allow him to see everything from entrance to exit.  This should provide the best proof of whether or not I have any other inflammation in my gut and hopefully a clear picture of my hookworm population.
